APRIL 2010 / YSDN

Nike Response is an advertisement installation existing in a storefront display, which is designed to interact with potential customers passing by.

The installation essentially consist of a rear projection screen hanging in the storefront with the advert (a Nike shoe) projected onto it. When a person walks past the display the shoe becomes distorted as if to mimic the tension put on shoes as people stay active. When the person stops or no further motion is detected the advertised shoe compresses back into its natural, original, form. The tagline 'form remixed', accompanying the unique user interaction, extends this notion onto the audience. Nike Response is about providing the customer with a platform to redefine with their unique and personal lifestyles.
